Building a Better Boyertown has five standing committees and three sub-committees all focused on making Boyertown a better place to visit, work, and live.

The Design Committee: works to create an attractive, coordinated and high-quality visual image in downtown Boyertown by capitalizing on its unique physical assets and architectural heritage in our carefully preserved town.

Tree Committee: works to maintain the trees and planters that have been planted and placed in Boyertown to beautify the local streetscape.

The Economic Vitality Committee: works to implement a market strategy to result in an  improved retail mix, a stronger tax base, increased investor confidence, and a stable role for the downtown as a major component of the town’s economy.

The Organization Committee: works to recruit new leadership for BaBB, and partnerships to assist with programs and projects. This committee also works to mobilize volunteers, and raises funds to support the downtown revitalization effort.

The Promotion Committee: works to promote a unified image of historic Boyertown as a robust center of activities to attract visitors and community members to shop, invest, and enjoy downtown.

Oktoberfest Committee: a sub-committee of the Promotion Committee which organizes, manages, and promotes the annual Oktoberfest event held in mid-September.

PickFest Committee: a sub-committee of the Promotion Committee which organizes, manages, and promotes the annual Pickfest event.

The Arts and Activities Alliance: works to integrate an appreciation for the arts in Boyertown, and build community connections through sharing ideas and exploring topics of interest related to visual and literary art, health and wellness, the mind/body/spirit connection, and the creative process.

If you would like to volunteer on one of our committees, please call Jillian Magee, Main Street Manager, at 610-369-3054 or email manager@boyertownpa.org.  If you don’t reach Jillian on the first call, she’ll get back to you to discuss your interests. Each committee meets regularly and has tasks that they have identified for completion within each calendar year.
