Many historic towns have only one major attraction, sometimes two. Historic Boyertown is blessed with a whole collection of major attractions that can fill a day, a weekend or most of a week! We are very proud to host the Colebrookdale Railroad, a restored Victorian train that takes passengers into the Secret Valley, while they dine, or just enjoy the excursion. The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, housed in the older Boyertown Body Works, features antique cars and other vehicles, many of which were manufactured in Boyertown during its production heyday. The State Theater features first run movies in a traditional theater, fully restored and equipped with the latest technology. Frecon Farms hosts thousands of visitors each year who come to pick their own fresh fruit and enjoy the wares available in their store. In addition, Funky Frets hosts concerts and the Boyertown Area Historical Society features local historical artifacts and documents which tell the story of our delightful town. The Fairview Cemetery offers the most incredible views over Boyertown.

You’ll discover two first class wineries in the countryside surrounding Historic Boyertown: Manatawny Creek Winery and Ridgewood. Additionally, you can visit the Rodale Institute, which began the whole organic farming trend over 40 years ago, and view a whole selection of historic farms, in fact, the most locations within a 20 mile radius in the entire United States, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
