Manatawny, a Native American term meaning “where we meet to drink,” is the perfect name for this lovely family run winery on the banks of Manatawny Creek. The Levengood family has been making wine here for nearly 20 years, growing about half of the grapes they need to produce about 5,000 cases of wine each year of 24 different wines. Their collection includes sparkling wine, white wines, pink wines, premium reds, red wines, fruit wines and dessert wines. Many have become a mainstay at local restaurants. The tasting room is open daily and a 30 minute tour of the cellar takes you through fermenting, storage, bottling and wine production.
